In September of 2017, I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. I’m currently teaching at Hunter College.  My research interests are focused upon philosophy of science and metaphysics, and they extend to early modern philosophy, moral theory, and epistemology. Specifically, my current research concerns the metaphysics of science, grounding and fundamentality, causation, explanation, scientific essentialism, and the causal theory of properties.
